Seton Hall goes to South Florida to battle the Bulls in a big east matchup.  The Hall has some great wins over Pitt and L'ville in its past few games.  I do not look for this trend to continue because their defense is very subpar.  It's actually one of the worst teams in the nation at getting defensive rebounds, this spells trouble for the Pirates because the Bulls have some accurate shooters.  The Hall is an inconsistent squad and thrives on the home crowd which won't be behind them tonight.

NBA: Boston At Orlando
The Celtics are 0-5 ATS during their last 5 games, they have underachieved all year vs's teams they know they can beat.  This is a game where the team will rise up and challenge a legit Orlando Magic squad.  The Celtics defense is still ranked #2 despite them not playing 100% so far this year, look for their offense to wake up tonight, Garnett to keep Howard in check and we have a good chance to take this one.

L'ville travels to West Virginia in a big east matchup.  Both teams are well coached, athletic but WV is 16-3 while the Cards are 13-7 and their D has looked weak.  Going back its not that their D is bad, its lack of effort because their offense has played so well averaging 80.1 PPG, they put up alot of points vs's a decent Pitt defense, Nova and Arkie.  Being that this is a rival game I think the Cards will turn it up a notch and give WV a fight.  WV has been great all year at defensive rebounds but is the Ville finds their stroke this one could come down to the wire leaving me to believe their is value in the line.

Seton Hall at Nova
One team I have been following is Seton Hall, all year they have had chances to beat everybody they have played including Cuse, Gtown and WV.  This team runs the floor as good as anybody but sometimes get outmatched with size and thier lack of defense.  Tonight they face a team that lacks defense and also likes to run the floor.  Seton Hall is as athletic as anybody and should not be a double digit dog tonight, 1 reason being Villanova can't outrun nor outshoot them.  This should be an offensive battle and if the Hall shoots a decent percentage we can stay within the double digits and maybe sneak out a victory.  Nova's defense is ranked very poorly and barely beat Marquette, L'ville and G'town so even though highly ranked, they are not unstoppable.  The Hall should go be going to this game highly motivated coming off a loss and knowing they are on the bubble.  Lets take the dog.

Cinci at Notre Dame
Last time these two met Cinci won a close game.  The final score ended up 60-58 and now the total is set at 145 and N.D.-3.5.  Its tough to pick a winner between these two because the Irish's defense is very shaky and is capable of giving up alot of points vs's anybody.  Lately Cinci has put up a few decent wins and has put up 70+ points on a few occasions.  This tells me this offense is getting better throughout the season and I look for them to score some points tonight.  Last game there was 118 points scored, now total is set at 145....we also have the possibility of overtime as this game should be a close one.  The Irish now they can't get into a defensive game with anybody so look for them to run and keep Cinci's offense going....the Cinci Offense is also a great rebounding team so we should see some 2nd chance points.

Duke travels to North Carolina in a classic matchup. Lately the heels have dropped 7/9 games and Duke has been hot. It's easy to assume Duke should win this game but I'm going to buck that trend.  NC is 11-3 at home and the young, athletic crew seems to play their hearts out in front of the home crowd.

Notre Dame travels to Seton Hall in what should be an offensive game. Both teams have some accurate shooters but I feel Notre Dame has the better inside game so I see alot of quick baskets from them. Also both of these teams are good at offensive rebounds which should make for some fast second try baskets. With both teams needing a win look for a fast paced game with alot of points Irish/pirates over 163.5.

Another good big east game but I see too many mismatches in this one. St. Johns is just 2-9 in big east play because of the caliber athlete in this division.  The Ville started slow but lately their defensive effort has been much better as they are "clicking" on both sides of the ball.  As long as the Cardinals offensive has an average day we should cover this one L'ville -5 for 3 units.

Right to it. I can't see why St. Johns is a 5.5 pt dog to ND. The Johns have an awful conference record but that's nothing to be ashamed of in the big east. The Johns have also been shaky on the road but that's been vs's good defensive teams and ND's D is subpar. The Johns matchup well here and should keep this game close throughout, after their blowout win vs L'ville they should have confidence

Kansas is ranked #1 and for good reason.  this team can shoot the 3 ball, slam the boards and is #1 in defensive fg percentage. Tonight they play a conference game vs Tex A&M.  The Aggies are a perfect 13-0 at home but think that streak will come to an end. Kansas is too good at hitting the offensive boards and that is where the A&M defense will struggle.  The Aggies will play with alot of heart but will get frustrated late when Kansas imposes their will and talent.

WVU is a small fav at UCONN tonight. UCONN has been playing improved ball compared to a few weeks ago, I don't think it's enough to beat a very balanced WVU team. WVU will get too many second chance efforts. This line is also set low because the huskies are fighting for a spot in the tourney. It's too late and WVU shows thier defensive skills tonight
